Peggy and Geoffrey come from the Netherlands and form a very kind couple. They both are moto-riders and I heard they had a very original wedding a couple of days before heir honeymoon in Mauritius.

While Geoffrey looks like more introverted, Peggy is very dynamic. They always remained positive despite the terrible weather and they were very enthusiastic with original ideas in unusual place. In summary, it was great fun to spend the day together. This fun, this mood together with their love for each other are really present in the images.

Together we did the southern coast of Mauritius, as they were based at Le Shandrani Hotel in Blue Bay. We first went up to the East to find places where the Dutch first landed when discovering Mauritius a few centuries ago. We also did our part of discovery by finding a very rustic and natural place, called Le Barachois (hotel restaurant), where we did wonderful images thanks to the kindness of the owner. After this historical bit, we went to Mahebourg to take some street markets images, but rain was pouring – we continued then to La Roche Qui Pleure, a wonderful cliffs seascape where the Indian ocean is really wild. We finally got to Le Morne and its beautiful beaches for the sunset (we didn’t get it, but the weather was really better). Of course, en route, we stopped in s small village to take some street markets images, and a very funny picture with school-girls 😉 We also stopped at a fishermen village, a nice walk under trees, close to a sugar cane plant … At the end of the day, the three of us were completely exhausted … 🙂

Hope you’ll enjoy the images !
